Anarchy in the UK - Bhangra edition

Opium Jukebox's sitar and dhol genre bending Sex Pistols tunes are awesome. Remember how much you liked the mischievous covers and reinterpretations of 'establishment' songs, God Save The Queen and My Way....

Big Audio Dynamite: 1987 The Medicine Show

Second in a series of amusing songs with spoken word by artists that don't normally do spoken word: Big Audio Dynamite: 1987 The Medicine Show The actual video for the song...and it includes that unique and unmistakable symbol of the 80s...a Delorean. Spoken word lyrics:
Wanted in fourteen counties of this state,
the condemned is found guilty of the crimes of murder,
armed robbery of citizens, state banks, and post offices,
the theft of sacred objects,
arson in a state prison,
deserting his wife and children,
inciting prostitution,
receiving stolen goods,
selling stolen goods,
passing counterfeit money,
and contrary to the laws of this state,
the condemned is guilty of using marked cards and loaded dice.
Therefore, according to the power invested in us, we sentence the accused here before us, Tuco Benedicto Pacifico Juan Maria Ramirez...
...known as the Rat...
...and any other aliases he might have,
to hang by the neck until dead. May God have mercy on his soul.

The Tubes: What do you want from life?

First in a series of amusing songs with spoken word by artists that haven't normally recorded spoken word:
The Tubes: 1978: What do you want from life?
A video with good visuals.
Spoken word lyrics:
Well, you can't have that, but if you're an American citizen you are entitled to:
a heated kidney shaped pool,
a microwave oven--don't watch the food cook,
a Dyna-Gym--I'll personally demonstrate it in the privacy of your own home,
a king-size Titanic unsinkable Molly Brown waterbed with polybendum,
a foolproof plan and an airtight alibi,
real simulated Indian jewelry,
a Gucci shoetree,
a year's supply of antibiotics,
a personally autographed picture of Randy Mantooth
and Bob Dylan's new unlisted phone number,
a beautifully restored 3rd Reich swizzle stick,
Rosemary's baby,
a dream date in kneepads with Paul Williams,
a new Matador, a new mastodon,
a Maverick, a Mustang, a Montego,
a Merc Montclair, a Mark IV, a meteor,
a Mercedes, an MG, or a Malibu,
a Mort Moriarty, a Maserati, a Mac truck,
a Mazda, a new Monza, or a moped,
a Winnebago--Hell, a herd of Winnebago's we're giving 'em away,
or how about a McCulloch chainsaw,
a Las Vegas wedding,
a Mexican divorce,
a solid gold Kama Sutra coffee pot,
or a baby's arm holding an apple?
